We are privileged to live in a beautiful landscape in northern Tasmania, Australia. The north is prime pastural land and was settled by farmers, some of whom had money. Convict labor was used on larger estates and convicts often for to use their trade, with unskilled laborers often trained in a trade as they worked. We have an abundance of lovely old buildings here, and most estates that are run by trusts or privately owned are open to the public.
This photograph was taken not too far from Entally Estate, facing West to capture the gorgeous glow and light rays. I shared a few lovely photos of the Entally Estate vineyard with buildings in the background at ‘golden hour’ last year.
