Pets are for life!
Puppies: It doesn't take long to fall in love!
Many pet owners will tell you is was love at first sight!
For one my daughters, all it took was a photo online and it was ‘done and dusted’. She wanted that puppy!
Yes, we got that puppy all right, and he was and is beautiful.
This picture above is Amadeus as a puppy, perhaps four months old, then maybe a year, then two. You can see how he’s grown. We have a beautiful large canvas of Amadeus Puppy (as we call it) in our home. It is a wonderful memory to have always present with us. It makes us smile.
I want you to have the same opportunity to have beautiful artwork on your wall that will being yuou pleasure day after day, week after week, year after year. Some things will always bring us pleasure. Photos of places we haven’t been or people we don’t really know don’t keep our attention long; but beautiful portraits of young children and puppies keep on paying you back long after you feel you got what you spent on them!
So keep the love! Capture your puppy in one of our enjoyable photography sessions (a wonderful memory in itself) and savour the feeling for life!

Old Timers
Being an old timer can be a good time for our best friend if we give them love and care. Old age has it’s own special memories. In October 2015, we lost one of our old friends. Rembrandt the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel moved to a more comfortable place. Long may he roam on the foreshores, parks, meadows and mountains he has missed as he grew older; along with Shakespeare and Bronte, close mates of his generation that went before him.
He will be missed. By his human family. By his dog family. By his friends. By our friends. By Tom and Bob, our dear vets from Wynnum Manly Veterinary Hospital. By kids who stopped to pat him, and parents that looked on and smiled. By the people at the dog cafe. By the postie. By the council (although it’s been a while since he got out). By those who brought an escape artist wandering down the street back to us. By those he beat in a dress up competition at the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Day when I cut up a big Pal bag and made a hasty costume for him. He’ll be missed in the morning when I would bend down and gently pat my ageing friend; during the day when I took out moments for kindness as his body was failing; and in the evening when I tried to make him comfortable for bed despite his aches and pains and laboured breathing. Rembrandt, will will miss you our friend.
I’m sure glad we took the time to “make a photo” as the Europeans say. In doing so, we have “made a memory”. We now have some wonderful photographs by which to remember Rembrandt hanging on the wall in our home.
